Thanks to the revision of the burial law, it is now possible to bury a deceased Muslim without a coffin in most German cemeteries. This is a great relief for Muslims in Germany. We have made it our specialty to offer Islamic burials without a coffin, and our staff carries them out sensitively and professionally. In a burial without a coffin, the body is placed in the grave. One or two people enter the grave and carefully lay the deceased on their right side. Then, one of the two people covers the grave with so-called "grave slabs." These are wooden boards that prevent the earth from coming into direct contact with the body. Afterward, the grave is filled in, and the Islamic burial is complete.
